Quill Ballpoint Pen & Stand: Stripe Orange

A dyed feather pen in striped orange, with its own stand. Orange sits at the sacral end of the modern correspondence tables: creativity, appetite, the part of a practice that is meant to be enjoyable. The stripe makes it the most obviously feather-like of the five.

The feather is real and dyed; the tip is a ballpoint. So it looks like a quill and writes like a pen, and nobody has to keep an inkwell or learn to cut a nib. The stand is what stops it living in a drawer.
