Satya Incense 15gr Sandalwood

Sandalwood is the oldest ritual wood in continuous use anywhere. Warm, creamy, and quiet, it does not announce itself the way a floral does. It settles a room instead.

What Is In It

Satya has been made in Bangalore since the 1960s and is the most recognized incense in the world, which is a strange thing to be able to say about a stick of scented bamboo and yet here we are. Hand rolled from natural resins, gums, flowers and essential oils. Sold as a single 15 gram box. Because it is sold by weight rather than by count, the number of sticks varies a little from box to box.

What It Means

Sandalwood sits with the Moon and with water, and it has been burned for meditation and for the dead in more traditions than almost any other material. It is the scent to reach for when you want to slow down rather than clear out.

Safety

Burn on a heat safe holder in a ventilated room. Never leave burning incense unattended, keep it away from children, pets, and anything flammable, and let the ash cool fully before you empty it.
