Reiki I Certification

Reiki I certification, taught in person over two days in Terrell. Attunement, hands-on practice, personal mentorship, and real experience working on other people rather than on a screen.

We teach in person on purpose. In 2020 nearly every program moved online, and that was the right call at the time and it built communities that would not otherwise exist. But an attunement passed over a video call is not the same event, and neither is learning to read what your hands are telling you with nobody in front of you. What gets lost online is the part that is hardest to teach and easiest to skip.

Reiki I is the entry level and it is where you learn to work on yourself and on the people around you. No prior experience is required and none is expected. What is required is that you can commit to the full class, both days, in the room.

The Shape of It

Friday evening, 6:00 to 8:30. History and origins, the chakra system, mudras, energy games to help you actually feel a shift, the energy body, open questions, and homework.

Saturday morning, 9:00 to 1:00. The final lecture on practical technique, the attunement ceremony, a grounding break, and a group share where you give and receive.

So it is two sessions across two days rather than two full days, about six and a half hours of teaching, and the gap overnight is deliberate; the homework is where a lot of it lands.

What You Get

The in-person attunement, the full Reiki I curriculum, hands-on practice in the room, handouts written by your teacher, a copy of Diane Stein's Essential Reiki, a certificate, and ongoing access to us afterward. We also run a free Reiki Share on the second Saturday of every month, which is where most people actually get good.

Bundle: Reiki I and II together is $369 at checkout, against $444 taken separately, so it saves you seventy-five dollars. You still sit the two classes on separate dates at least thirty days apart.

Good to Know

In person in Terrell. All sessions are in person at Wild Raven's Nest, 602 N Rockwall Ave in Terrell. Wear something comfortable; you will be both giving and receiving. Bring a notebook.

If fewer than four students register for a date, the class rolls over to the next planned one and you keep your seat.

Reiki I is for working on yourself and on the people around you. It is Reiki II that covers charging for sessions professionally, so if income is the goal, plan for both.

Reiki is not a medical qualification and this certification does not make you a healthcare provider.

Try It With

Reiki II Certification is the next step, and there is a minimum of thirty days between them. The alumni refresher lets past students sit the lecture again for sixty dollars.
