Description
Several copper wires braided along the length of the cuff, open at the back, adjustable by hand. The braid is why it flexes more comfortably than a solid bar of the same weight.

Copper takes braiding because it is ductile in a way almost nothing else is. A single gram of copper can be drawn out to a wire more than two kilometres long, which is the property that made it the metal that wired the world.

It is also the second best electrical conductor there is, after silver, and practitioners have used exactly that language about it for centuries without knowing the physics. Whether the two facts are connected is not something we will claim either way.

How to Wear It

Uncoated solid copper, so it darkens with wear and can leave a green mark on skin. That is copper reacting with sweat and air and it washes off. A dry cloth dabbed in vinegar takes the patina back off the metal when you want the shine again.
