Pentagram Brass Bell 4"

Brass altar bell with the pentagram as the handle, so the symbol is in your hand every time you ring it. The five-pointed star inside a circle is the old shorthand for the four elements plus spirit held together in one shape, and it has been a protective mark for a very long time. There is a reason it ended up on doors before it ended up on altars.

4 inches tall with a 2 inch mouth. It has a bright, clean voice that carries further than the size suggests.

Ways to Use It

Ring to open and close a circle, and keep your count consistent so the cue becomes automatic. Sound it into the corners of a room to break up stale air when you cannot or would rather not burn anything. Use it to call yourself back when a meditation has wandered, or to mark the start of a reading. Kept on the altar between uses, it is also just a good object to have within reach.
