Leather Journal With Strap - Flower of Life

A leather journal with the Flower of Life worked into the cover and a strap that wraps the whole book closed. The overlapping-circle grid itself is genuinely old and turns up in Roman mosaics, in Islamic geometry and carved on temple walls. The name Flower of Life and the reading of it as a diagram of creation are modern, out of sacred geometry writing from the 1990s onward, which does not make it less good to look at.

A strap closure matters more than it sounds. A journal that has been carried, pressed under other things and opened a hundred times stays shut and keeps its shape, which a plain cover does not.
