Description
Hematite on a keyring with a charm, in a choice of styles. Heavier than it looks, which is the point of carrying it rather than a lighter stone.
Hematite is iron oxide, and its name comes from haima, Greek for blood, because a hematite streak on unglazed porcelain comes off rust red however silver the surface looks. Ancient people used it as pigment before anything else: the red ochre in the Lascaux paintings is powdered hematite. It is also why Mars is red, since the planet's surface is coated in it.
It is worked at the root: grounding, staying in the body, and protection for people who come out of a room carrying everyone else's mood. On keys it is there for the walk across a parking lot and the sit in the car afterward.
How to Use It
