What Black Does

How to Work It

Burn it when something needs to leave and stay gone, or when you want a boundary to hold through a week you already know will test it. Ninety hours is long enough to sit with a situation properly rather than reacting to it on the first night. Set it somewhere it can burn safely for the long stretch, and read the flame and the wax as it goes. A candle that runs a week gives you seven chances to sit with the question rather than one.

Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable, and set it on a heat safe surface. Glass gets hot. Stop burning when about half an inch of wax remains.
