Description
This one carries a carved shungite heart among the beads, so the shape is doing part of the work. A heart on a protective stone says something specific: guard the part that is soft, not the whole self. That is a different instruction from a plain shield and it is why this piece exists.
Shungite itself comes from a handful of deposits in Karelia, northwest Russia, and nowhere else on earth. The rock is around two billion years old, and geologists still argue about how a carbon rock that old formed at all, since there was very little life around to supply the carbon. Ordinary shungite runs thirty to fifty percent carbon; the rare elite grade runs far higher.
Worked for grounding and for clearing. People who spend their days around screens keep it close, and so do people who come home from other people's houses feeling coated in something.
How to Wear It
- Wear it on the days you already know are going to cost you something.
- Rinse and set it to dry. Shungite marks a light cloth at first, which is the carbon, and it settles.
