A brown vegan leather cuff carrying runes and a brass toned Vegvisir, adjustable. Here is the honest version of what it is, because the usual one is not true.

The Vegvisir is Icelandic but it is not Viking Age. It appears in the Huld Manuscript, compiled by Geir Vigfússon in 1860, with a note saying that whoever carries it will not lose their way in storms even when the way is unknown. Two other nineteenth century Icelandic grimoires carry it too. There is no archaeological example, no saga mention, and nothing older than about two hundred years.

That makes it Icelandic folk magic rather than Norse religion, which is a real tradition with real practitioners and does not need to borrow age it does not have. Worn for wayfinding: not knowing the route, and going anyway.
