A black vegan leather cuff with a gold toned triple moon and pentacle, adjustable. The triple moon is waxing crescent, full, waning crescent, read left to right.
The symbol is more recent than it usually gets credited for, and the history is worth knowing rather than hiding. Robert Graves proposed the Maiden, Mother and Crone triad in The White Goddess in 1948, drawing on and considerably reshaping older material, and Wicca took it up from there. It is a twentieth century symbol built out of much older parts, which describes a great deal of modern practice honestly.
None of which makes it work less well. The three phases are observably real, the pattern of growing, being full and letting go is the shape of most things, and a symbol does not need to be ancient to do its job.
