Cast Iron Goblet - Tree of Life

A cast iron goblet with the Tree of Life on the bowl, four inches across. Cast iron is the point: it is heavy, it does not travel when someone knocks the table, and it takes heat and cold without complaint.

On an altar a chalice usually stands for water and for the receptive half of a working. This one also does honest work as a vessel: dry offerings, herbs, crystal chips, salt, the ashes at the end of a petition.

Good to Know

4 inch diameter, solid cast iron. Not for food or drink unless you line it. Bare cast iron will rust if you leave it wet, so dry it properly after any liquid work and wipe it with a trace of oil now and then if you live somewhere humid.
