Spell breaking, or uncrossing, is for a run of trouble that feels aimed. Nothing catastrophic, just everything going slightly wrong at once and for longer than chance would explain. Whether or not anyone actually worked against you, the tradition treats the condition rather than the culprit.

Uncrossing is a hoodoo staple and it comes with a sequence: break first, cleanse second, protect third, and only then do the work you were trying to do. Skipping to the protection step is the usual mistake, because a boundary drawn around a crossed condition just holds it in place.

How to Use:

• Mist over your own head and shoulders and down the front of the body, then out through the hands.
• Work the house from back to front and finish at the open front door.
• Wash doorknobs, keys and anything you handle daily with a cloth dampened with it.
• Follow with a cleansing, then a protection, then whatever you actually wanted to work on.
