Sex magic is one of the older ideas in the craft and the least complicated: desire is a real force and you can point it at something. The tradition runs from tantric practice through Paschal Beverly Randolph in the nineteenth century to the whole of the Western occult revival after him.

It works as attraction work, and it works as raising power for something that has nothing to do with attraction. Which one you are doing is a matter of what you hold in mind, and that is worth deciding before you light it rather than during.

What You Are Getting

Six inch taper, about five hours of burn in still air. Sold as a pair. These are dressed with herbs on the outside of the wax, so the color runs differently from batch to batch and yours will not match the photograph exactly.

Safety

Dressed candles carry dry herb on the wax and they can flare. Keep the flame in sight, set the candle in a holder that catches drip on a heatproof surface, and keep it away from drafts, curtains, children and pets. Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each burn. Never leave it burning unattended.
