Patchouli Essential Oil 10 mL
Description
Patchouli is the oil people have opinions about. Deep, dark, woody, and a little sweet underneath, it is the scent most associated with grounding, and it does not do subtle. If you have ever caught it on someone's coat and been thrown back a decade, that is patchouli doing what it does.
In folk practice it is worked for grounding, prosperity, and drawing, which is why it turns up in so many money oils and abundance blends. Traditionally it sits with Saturn and the element of Earth, and the association makes sense the moment you smell it. It is heavy in the way soil is heavy.
Ways to Use It
Diffuse a few drops when you need to get back in your body after a scattered day. Add it to a carrier oil and use it as an anointing oil for grounding, prosperity, or protection work. Put a single drop on a candle before you dress it, since patchouli is a base note and a little carries a long way. It also fixes a blend, meaning it slows down how fast the lighter oils flash off, which makes it useful even when it is not the star.
Try It With
Burn it alongside Benzoin Resin Incense, which shares the same heavy, sweet base. For prosperity work pair it with a Pyrite Skull on the altar and Lucky Bitch Aura Spray for the days you need it portable. More in our money and luck collection.
Good to Know
10 mL. Patchouli is one of the few oils that genuinely improves with age, so an older bottle is a better bottle. Store it capped, out of sunlight, and away from heat.
Safety
Essential oils are highly concentrated. Always dilute in a carrier oil before applying to skin, and patch test first. Keep away from children and pets, and do not take internally. Consult a qualified practitioner before use if you are pregnant, nursing, or managing a medical condition.
