Nag Champa White Sage Bundle 4"

A four inch white sage bundle scented with nag champa, in blue. It is the best-looking bundle on the shelf and the one people pick up first.

The two halves do opposite things and that is the point of putting them together. White sage is a clearing herb and it is blunt about it. It takes a room back to neutral and leaves a sharp, medicinal smell that a lot of people find austere; the compound doing most of that is 1,8-cineole, the same eucalyptol you get in eucalyptus. Nag champa is the opposite: warm, sweet, powdery, built around champak flower and, classically, halmaddi resin, though halmaddi has grown scarce enough that most modern nag champa uses less of it or substitutes. It is the smell of every meditation room and record shop of the last fifty years.

So this bundle clears and then fills, in one object, instead of making you burn two things in sequence. If you have ever cleansed a room and then found it felt blank rather than clean, this is the fix.

It is the one to reach for before company, before a reading, or on a morning where the problem is not that something is wrong but that nothing has started.

Our white sage comes from a family farm in California that grows it rather than wildcrafts it. That matters more than people realize: white sage is not an endangered species, but wild populations have been hit hard, roughly half of them lost to development and the rest under real poaching pressure, with seizures running to hundreds of pounds at a time. Cultivated sage takes none of that. If a shop cannot tell you where theirs comes from, that is worth noticing.
