Description
A faceted rose quartz point bound in leather and hung on a cord with a wooden bead. The leather does the holding, so there is no metal setting and no glue line, and the wrap is different on every piece because it is done by hand.
A point is directional in a way a tumbled stone is not. Worn hanging, it aims down toward the heart, and that is the argument for wearing rose quartz in this shape rather than as a bead: the stone has an orientation and the orientation is at you.
Rose quartz is milky because of borosilicate fibers grown through the quartz, and faceting it gives those fibers more surfaces to scatter across. It is the heart stone in every list, and the older use is self directed: worked for the person who is generous with everyone else and hard on themselves.
