Description
The smallest one we stock, handwoven cotton with a tassel. It holds a pair of earrings, a single stone, or anything about the size of a silver dollar, and it costs less than most of what you will put in it.

Cotton behaves differently from silk here in a way that matters. It breathes, it does not slip, and it takes a knot, so a cotton pouch stays shut in a bag where a silk one works itself open.

These are handmade in Nepal by fair trade partners, and the alternate pull strings are the mechanism: pull one pair and the mouth closes, pull the other and it opens. Colors are assorted and we ship a selection if you order more than one.
