How to Work It

Name the amount. Abundance is a vague word and vague requests tend to produce vague results, so say the figure, the client, or the relief you actually want before you light it. Set it somewhere it can burn safely for the long stretch, and read the flame and the wax as it goes. A candle that runs a week gives you seven chances to sit with the question rather than one.

Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable, and set it on a heat safe surface. Glass gets hot. Stop burning when about half an inch of wax remains.
