What It Is
Juniperus communis, steam distilled from the berries. Not certified organic, which is the price difference and nothing else.

In the Craft
The threshold plant of northern Europe: burned at doors, in stables and in sickrooms for purification. Worked for warding a boundary and clearing what has come in uninvited.

How to Work With It

• Anoint a doorframe or window for warding.
• Diffuse to clear a space that feels wrong rather than stale.
• Add to a floor wash worked back to front.
• Anoint a candle for protection work.

Blends well with: cypress, cedarwood, rosemary, lemon, frankincense
