Choosing a carving

A carving does two jobs at once: it carries the energy of the stone, and it carries the meaning of the shape. An obsidian raven is protection with a messenger's eye. An amethyst wolf is intuition with teeth. A frog is the old symbol for change, luck and coming back around. Pick the animal that keeps showing up in your life, then pick the stone that feels right.

Each carving is cut from natural stone, so color and pattern vary piece to piece. For bigger statement pieces, see figures and familiars; for stones to hold rather than display, browse tumbled stones; and for the full range, head back to all crystals.
