Chime Ritual Candles 4in
Description
Chime candles are the small tapers used for spellwork. The reason they exist is burn time: a chime candle goes out in roughly two hours, so a working can be started and finished in one sitting rather than left burning for days or, worse, blown out halfway and picked up later.
They are also cheap enough to use properly. Dress one, carve it, burn it to nothing and read the wax, and do it again next week without thinking about the cost.
How to Use Them
Choose the color for the work, dress it with an oil if you use one, carve a word or a sigil into the wax, and let it burn all the way down in one go. What is left at the bottom is worth looking at. A clean burn and a heavy sooty one are not saying the same thing.
They need a proper holder. A chime candle is thin and it will fall over on a saucer.
Good to Know
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and burn on a heatproof surface away from anything that catches. Product listings for this line differ on the length, four inches or five; message us before ordering if the exact size matters to you.
Pair It With
A holder sized for them: black for banishing, white as the all-purpose one, purple for readings, or the purple glass pentacle holder that lets the light through. To seal the petition afterwards, Wicca Sealing Wax. More in candles.
