Tulsi | Holy Basil Blend
Description
Warm, faintly peppery and green, with mint at the finish. This is the cup for a day that has too much in it. Tulsi is the household altar plant across much of India, grown by the door and tended daily, and this blend is built around that habit of returning to the same small ritual whichever way the day has gone.
What's In It
Holy Basil (Tulsi). The Queen of Herbs, grown at the threshold and kept for devotion. Warm and clove-like, with a peppery edge sweet basil never has.
Ashwagandha. A deep root for steadiness and quiet power. Earthy and slightly bitter, it gives the blend its weight.
Ginger. Fire and forward motion. A clean peppery heat that comes up late in the cup.
Peppermint. Clears the air and sharpens the edges. Cool and bright, it lifts the heavier roots.
Lemon Balm. Softens and gladdens. A gentle lemon note that rounds the whole thing off.
