Ancestral Connection Ritual Kit

A kit for sitting down with your own lineage on purpose rather than only at funerals. Ancestor work is the oldest practice there is and the least complicated, and most of it comes down to setting a place, saying names out loud, and listening.

You do not need to know the names. Plenty of people come to this work with a family tree that stops two generations back, and the practice holds up fine without one.

What's Included

Written instructions. A sweetgrass braid for smoke cleansing. A feather to move the smoke. Two purple ritual candles. A clear quartz crystal. A black salt herb blend. Anointing oil. Matches.

How the Ritual Runs

Cleanse the space with the sweetgrass first, then set the two candles. Dress them with the oil, set the quartz between them, and lay the black salt as a line you are not asking anyone to cross. Then say who you are looking for and wait. The instructions walk through it properly.

Every kit comes with written instructions, so nothing here assumes you have done this before. Read them through once before you start rather than as you go, set aside an hour you will not be interrupted in, and put your phone in another room. The work is ordinary and physical: light the candle, dress it, burn the herbs, sit with it.

Good to Know

Assembled by hand here at the shop, so exact crystal size, shape and color vary piece to piece. Contains matches and candles. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and burn on a heatproof surface away from anything that catches. The matches are safety matches, so they need the striker on the box. Keep the whole kit away from children and pets.

Pair It With
