Native Soul Incense | Palo Santo & Copal

Sweet, piney, slightly medicinal underneath. If you have ever smelled a church at the end of a service and wanted to stay in it, this is close to that.

Both halves are resins and both have long ceremonial histories on their own continents. Palo santo is a South American tree, harvested traditionally from wood that has already fallen and cured for years. Copal ran through Maya and Aztec ritual for centuries before anyone wrote it down. Putting them in one stick is a modern idea, and it works because resin smoke behaves the same way everywhere: it is dense, it is slow, and it makes a room feel like somewhere deliberate.

Good for anything unhurried. Long meditation, a reading that will take a while, an altar you are setting up properly.

Try It With

Safety

Burn on a heat safe holder in a ventilated room. Never leave burning incense unattended, keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable, and let the ash cool fully before you empty it.
