Seven herbs in one stick, which makes this the most crowded blend in the line: tobacco, sage, cedar, sweetgrass, juniper, lavender and copal.

Blends this long can turn muddy and this one does not, because the parts are doing different jobs instead of competing. Sage and juniper clear. Cedar and copal hold. Sweetgrass and lavender soften the landing. It reads as one smell rather than seven, which is the whole trick.

The one to reach for when you cannot name exactly what the room needs. It covers most of it.

A note on the tobacco

Tobacco is genuinely in this, listed by the maker, and it belongs to a long history of ceremonial use across the Americas. It is burned here, not smoked or consumed. If anyone in the house avoids tobacco smoke for any reason, pick a different blend from this line.
