Hecate's Ritual Oil

Hecate stands where three roads meet. Keeper of keys, guardian of the threshold, and she will not choose your road for you. What she does is hold the torch up until you can see the difference between them.

Blended for the practitioner who works with her directly, and for anyone standing at a genuine crossroads in their life or their practice. Anoint before ritual, dress the candles on her altar, or put it on your tools before you read.

Spelling varies. Hecate is the Latin, Hekate the Greek, and you will see both across this shop and everywhere else. Same goddess.

How to Use It

Third eye, wrists or temples before divination. Dress candles, anoint altar tools, or consecrate what you leave for her. Shake gently first.

What Is In It

Mugwort and juniper, with an obsidian chip in the bottle. The carrier is fractionated coconut oil, jojoba and meadowfoam seed with vitamin E. The scent blend is ours and stays ours, but the botanicals are named because they are what touches your skin.

Pair It With

The Hecate candle stand and her herbal intention candles, plus loose mugwort for the seeing. More in intention oils.

Important Notes

Not for use in pregnancy. Mugwort and juniper both carry that caution. Mugwort is also in the daisy family and cross-reacts with ragweed, so if ragweed is a problem for you, patch test this one properly.
