Sharp, bright and unmistakable. The cleanest smelling oil on the shelf, with none of the sweetness of the other citruses.

What It Is
Citrus limon, cold pressed from the peel. It takes roughly 3,000 lemons to make a kilo of oil, which is a useful thing to know about how concentrated any of this is.

In the Craft
Lemon is worked for cleansing, for clarity and for cutting through confusion. It appears in uncrossing and clearing formulas across folk traditions, and lemon juice and peel are still standard in floor washes for a house that needs a reset.

How to Work With It

• Diffuse in a workspace when you need to think clearly.
• Add to a floor wash for a cleansing sweep, front to back.
• Anoint a candle for uncrossing or clearing work.
• Diffuse after an argument to take the charge out of a room.

Blends well with: rosemary, peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, frankincense

Safety. For external use only. Essential oils are highly concentrated: always dilute in a carrier oil before skin contact and patch test first. Never take internally. Keep away from children and pets. Ask a qualified practitioner before use if you are pregnant, nursing, or managing a medical condition. Cold pressed citrus oils can increase sun sensitivity. Keep treated skin out of direct sun for 12 hours.
