Choosing a candle for the work

Size sets the timeline. Chime candles burn in about two hours, which makes them right for a single spell or a petition you want to see through in one sitting. Seven-day glass candles burn for days and suit ongoing work, like a prayer, a protection, or holding space for someone you love. Pillars and handcrafted candles land somewhere in between and look beautiful on an altar.

Color carries meaning too: green for money and growth, red for love and courage, black for protection and banishing, white for anything at all. Dress your candle with oil and herbs from our ritual oils and ritual herbs, set it in a sturdy candle holder, and never leave a flame unattended. The spirits are patient. Your homeowner's insurance is not.
