Large Hand Carved Wooden Incense Burner Tower - Pentacle
Description
The Large Hand Carved Wooden Incense Burner Tower with the pentacle is nineteen inches of Indian rosewood with a pentacle carved into the tower, tall enough to stand beside an altar instead of on it. Up to four sticks or cones go inside, the smoke rises through the cut-outs, and the ash stays put. This is the burner for an altar that wants to announce itself.
The pentacle is the working symbol of the craft, five points for earth, air, fire, water and spirit, the circle holding them together. Carved into dark rosewood, it is decoration and declaration at once. Each tower is carved by hand in India, so no two are quite alike.
How to Use It
Set a lit stick or cone inside. The smoke finds its way out through the diamond cut-outs, which looks very good in low light. Use it for sabbat work, protection rituals, or any night the altar needs a centerpiece.
Try It With
Protection HEM Sticks are the natural pairing, and the Pentagram Altar Cloth finishes the set. More in the incense collection and the incense holder collection.
Good to Know
Dust it with a dry cloth and never soak carved wood; ash will stain the inside over the years, and most people grow fond of it. Stand it on a heat safe surface clear of children, pets and curtains, never leave it unattended, and let the ash cool before you empty it.
