Dream Amethyst is the banded kind, sometimes called Chevron Amethyst, where purple amethyst grew in layers alongside milky white quartz. You get amethyst's steady, quieting presence with quartz's habit of sharpening whatever it touches. Practitioners reach for the banded material when plain amethyst feels too soft for the job, especially for dreamwork and any practice where you need to actually remember what you saw.

A sphere radiates in every direction at once instead of pointing somewhere. That makes it a room stone rather than a working stone. It holds a tone in a space the way a struck bowl does, which is why spheres end up on nightstands, on desks that see too many hard conversations, and in the middle of a grid.

Ways to Use It

Set it where you sleep if your nights run restless or your dreams keep sliding away by morning. Put it at the center of a crystal grid and let it be the anchor the other stones point toward. Hold it during meditation and let your thumb find the bands, since the physical texture gives a wandering mind something to come back to. Or simply keep it in the room where you do your hardest thinking and let it steady the air.

Try It With
