Satya Incense 15gr Rainforest

Green, damp and resinous, the way air smells under a canopy after rain. It is one of the few incenses that reads as wet rather than dry, which is unusual and part of why people keep buying it.

What Is In It

Satya has been made in Bangalore since the 1960s and is the most recognized incense in the world, which is a strange thing to be able to say about a stick of scented bamboo and yet here we are. Hand rolled from natural resins, gums, flowers and essential oils. Sold as a single 15 gram box. Because it is sold by weight rather than by count, the number of sticks varies a little from box to box.

What It Means

A grounding scent rather than a devotional one. Good for bringing the outside in when you have been indoors too long, and for earth element work if that is part of your practice.

Safety

Burn on a heat safe holder in a ventilated room. Never leave burning incense unattended, keep it away from children, pets, and anything flammable, and let the ash cool fully before you empty it.
