Cord Cutting Ritual Kit

For when somebody is living rent free in your head. Not necessarily somebody who did something dramatic, either. Plenty of cords are just a person you think about more than the relationship actually warrants any more.

Cutting a cord is not about wishing them harm and it is not about deciding you never cared. It is about taking your own attention back.

What's Included

Written instructions. A white sage torch. A feather for smoke cleansing. Two white ritual candles. A clear quartz crystal. Black salt. A cord cutting herb blend. Anointing oil. Matches in a glass jar.

How the Ritual Runs

Cleanse with the sage, set the two candles at a distance from each other, and name what the cord actually is before you touch anything. Dress the candles, lay the salt, and let them burn all the way down. The instructions cover the cut itself and what to do with what is left.

Every kit comes with written instructions, so nothing here assumes you have done this before. Read them through once before you start rather than as you go, set aside an hour you will not be interrupted in, and put your phone in another room. The work is ordinary and physical: light the candle, dress it, burn the herbs, sit with it.

Good to Know

Assembled by hand here at the shop, so exact crystal size, shape and color vary piece to piece. Contains matches and candles. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and burn on a heatproof surface away from anything that catches. The matches are safety matches, so they need the striker on the box. Keep the whole kit away from children and pets.
