Description
Raw moonstone, unpolished. Moonstone is a feldspar built from alternating microscopic layers of two minerals, and the soft glow comes from light scattering between those layers. The effect has its own name, adularescence, and in rough material you can see the cleavage planes that cause it.
It is the stone of cycles: the moon, the month, the tide, and the parts of a life that come round again rather than arriving once. Practitioners work with it for intuition, for timing, and for the kind of feminine energy that has nothing to do with gender and everything to do with receptivity.
Practical Ways to Use
- Keep one by the bed for dream work and note what comes.
